You may not have to bond the sections, depending on their
size and the amount of overlap between sections.  They can
enjoy capacitive coupling, but try it first, and notice if there
is any receiver noise due to the sections scraping together.
If nothing works, do like the man said and bond everything
in sight even if it is a pain.   Steel don't join anything easly.
