But, along with the vertical dimension, the radials would naturally get
proportionately shorter, too, right? By a factor of 5?

So, like for 40 meters we normally use about 30 ft radials, huh? ...and
this Kintronic antenna scheme would shorten them by a factor of 5...down
to 6 feet?? or am I mistaken about that? 

I'm thinking of a possible stealth 40M (maybe even and 80M)
Kintronic-style vertical mostly enshrouded/hidden by a garden shed or an
attractive gazebo
