When I mentioned I had salted I the ground around my radials down deep I meant Organic Salts from Blood meal and Bone Meal, and Cotton Seed meal, these will degrade and decompose and leave me with organic salts, that one plants can use and will feed the plants, two place them deep enough to replenish the land and feed the root systems deep enough to grow plants drought proof here in SC and any flow from the location went to the garden plot, and would be available when we plowed it.

I would not use Sodium Chloride on any property I wanted to grow anything as it makes the ground toxic to plants, kills the soil organisms, and will leave it in a poor state for plant life for a few years encouraging erosion, now Organic Salts can improve the soil, encourage plant growth, if not over done and improve the RF ground many of them are in chemical Fertilizers, which I hate and I use organic ones. either way though they can help the RF Ground situation as a side benefit. At least on property such as mine in SC, my farm has had the soil depleted from cotton, tobacco and forrest products farming in non substainable methods, your mileage may varying in improvement, but feeding the soil trace minerals in the form of organic material can't hurt and might help.
