[Antennas] Butternut HF5V-III

It is probably "No-Al-Ox" available from any electrical supply, Home Depot,
etc. It is used to coat aluminum wire at terminals and junctions. Works
well on antenna junctions as well. Butternut actually sells something
called "Butter It's Not" which is a similar compound with copper in it.
These are specially formulated conductive compounds. Anti-Seize or other
products may not be conductive.

Subject: [Antennas] Butternut HF5V-III

HI Guy's, I picked up a older Butternut Vertical,Model HF5V-III, It seams
to have a grey Coating at all the connections of the aluminum pipe.
I am not sure if this was used so that the aluminum does not stick to it
self. I have heard of this stuff but never used it, I do have Anti-Seize and
Copper Coat that i thought maybe i could coat all the end's as i put it back
to gether.

Also it say to use a Specific leagnth of 75 ohm coax at the base but it does
not give a length, Also would that be calculated to 80 meters times its
Velocity Factor for impedance matching.

I king of know whats going on but just need a little help here. Have not
built a 75ohm matching section yet.

So HELP. Thanks Happy Holiday everyone !
