You will get an improvement on 10 and 12.
You should get an improvement on 15 and 17.
You may get improvement on 20.
You might get improvement on 30.
Do not think any other bands will show any change.
Any improvement assumes a good radial system (min 4) on each band...most likely should
be at around 60geg (I think....an antenna book will give the best angle for a 50ohm match
on a vertical).
While I do not think the lower bands will show any improvement, I also do not think it will
hurt. Could see a small signal improvement...but less than an S unit....you will have to
decide if it is worth the effort FOR YOU. There have been several antenna projects I have
done after being told it would be a waste of time. Worked for me. That is what counts...does
it work for you for the amount of effort required.
