A G5RV is a 105' dipole which is fed with a specific ladderline/balun/coax 
arrangement. Using ladder line all the way to the tuner will result in a 
105' dipole that has the same pattern and gain. Its just fed slightly 
differently. Don't worry about it.

That should work fine. Just keep the coax as short as possible. If you 
still are having trouble matching with your tuner then add a few feet of 
length to you ladderline.

Yes, if you are still having trouble matching adding a few feet to the 
antenna may resolve the problem as would adding a few feet to the feedline. 
Ether way you're just trying to get the impedance at the tuner within the 
tuner's tuning range.
