I'm not sure what the question is. The voltage applied to a large loop IS
the drop, and Ohms law will give the current; the current and Voltage will
give the power . Natural conditions will dictate how much of that heats
the ice and how much is carried off by the air. The electrical part of the
problem is the easy part.
Did I miss something?
