[Antennas] melting ice

Has anyone ever melted ice off of a loop using current? I was wondering how
much it took to melt ice. I would suppose that the voltage drop would be
pretty great with DC over a large loop, but IF enough voltage was applied to
overcome the ohmic losses, how much current would it take to melt the ice.
I suppose this depends upon the temperature as well.
Thanks,

CW - It's still magic !
