[Antennas] Ideas on Stripping Coax Shield??

How I do it (right or wrong)

1. Strip off the rubber insulation to as far back as you want the
length of the braided shield.
2. Just in front of where the rubber stops bend the coax back onto
itself forming a tight loop.
3. At the peak of this loop cut and spread open a little of the braid
making a hole.
4. Push the white plastic inner part of the cable at the peak of the
loop (with the wire part inside of course) through this hole.
5. Pull the length of the inner part of the cable through this hole
all they way, giving you the shielded part of the coax by itself with
the shield also by itself.
This is how I prepare my split ended coax.
