mobile so I didn't comment on that part.  The cruise control thing is 
just a nuisance.  It doesn't speed up like Val's did, thankfully, it 
just cuts in and out.  It has done it through several different rigs, as 
low as the 10 watt level.  Current rig is an Icom V8000, often at 75 
Watts out [I do a lot of long distance FM simplex], but the problem is 
about the same.  It doesn't seem to change with power level.

Antenna  is a 7' colinear mounted to the ladder racks behind the cab.  I 
get excellent range :-)

I'm thinking about tracking down the cruise control module and wrapping 
it with tin foil:-)
