I have Been driving Ford Trucks for over 15 years. Never had much problems with ignition noise. Never had RFI problems. Am now driving a 2002 so it has about as much electronics as any. Maybe I have been lucky but then I don't use any power over 100 watts, The antenna and the rig are both grounded to the frame and I always watch the SWR. You should not have a problem with RFI if you keep the radiated power outside the metal shield of the cab and engine compartments and don't try to use high power.

Have not noticed that in my windstar.....but, as my cruise control varies the speed over a 15
MPH range, I hardly use it at all.......
Do not know the opinions of others, but all the Fords I have owned have been real bad for
FRI.....love Fords...just could do with out the noise....
