A quick check on google confirmed my concept that corrosion is based upon
chemical reaction. Aluminum was divided into 9 categories depending upon
the other metals/chemicals mixed with the basic aluminum to form the alloy
desired. The type of allow influenced the corrosion problems possible.

I asked google for corrosion aluminum and copper and got a number of sites
to check. Take a look.
