Dear Ron,

Based on your description and knowing how an R-7 is designed, I would say
that what you have should be called "the poor man's R-7".

BTW, based on the R-7, you may find that it makes some sense to shorten the
lower leg of the vertical dipole in favor of a longer upper leg.
Or you could think of it as feeding it a bit off-center in favor of the feed
point being closer to the earth end.
