Dear Demetre,
I do not recognize the name "closed dipole". Perhaps you are referring
to what is known as a "folded dipole".

If so, there is no difference in length between a folded dipole and a
normal dipole - they are both one half wavelength, but the feed
impedance will be higher and the bandwidth will be greater.

I use one on 40m.
