        Of course good rollers inductors cost money!  Quality merchandise
always does!  Please go to www.KJ9T.com for another approach for a link
coupled tuner using a homemade coil.  Jim's site has lots of  good
construction articles furnished by our Kilowatt Alley 3875 group.  See
"there" how the pros build Tuners, Amplifiers, mobile Antennas etc.  The
old Johnson KW Matchbox link coupled circuitry just can't be beat where
it is applicable.
