[Antennas] Vertical MS-52 parts/info needed

Mil Surplus Querie  ....

   I have parts , a few elements for a military surplus  telescoping, (screw 
together) antenna. It s identified as a              "  WARD  MS-52    "   
possibly a WWII part. Does anyone have a clue, to  any reference to this , 
possibly in an Surplus antenna manual, MIlitary Training manual  etc.
  The elements are copper 40 " in length, painted black, with steel color 
coded fittings, I have  the  3/16,  1/2 and 3/8 pieces.  I would be 
interested in buying pieces or a complete unit.
    Please  advise.
