Hi Everybody,

        The 4-1 Balun I like best is the SB-4 by Palomar Engineering. 
Unfortunately that "brute" to the best of my knowledge is no longer being
manufactured.  It has at least 2 cores and maybe 3.  I should have
purchased two instead of one just in case.
        If any of you find one and plan to feed a doublet with Open Wire
Feeders (we old timers call that antenna a "center-fed zepp") buy it! 
You won't be disappointed.  It was written up by Lew McCoy in CQ magazine
January 1992.
