Ray,
OX-Gard. It is an anti oxidant in a grease. It is also conductive. I have
used it on all of my antenna joints, some coax connections, even in wire nut
connections. Keep in mind the adage "a little goes a long way" and keep it
from having a way to cross a PL 259 and short it out. You can find it at
Home Depot in the electrical department. This is the brand I happen to use
but any conductive anti oxidant would work. Some do have copper dust in them
to aid in the conductivity and that can and will wear out a connection that
is screwed and unscrewed fairly often.
