Mike,
If you build one yourself, the best way, and tune it to 20 mtrs it will work 
FB.  It will not be a DX wonder but if you can hear them you will be able to 
work them.  I also suggest and believe me you will be pleased with the 
results, LEAVE OUT THE BALUN.  Connect coax direct to the twinlead/ladder 
line.  I have had a couple of friends of mine do this and the antenna worked 
100% better without the balun.  KB4FOS Joe a regular check in on my 10 mtr 
net tried it and was amazed at how much of a difference removing the balun 
made.  I am sure that if you emailed him he would be happy to tell you about 
it.
