[Antennas] RF Ammeters

Greetings list...

I have 2 questions regarding using RF Ammeters in measuring antenna current.

1. Why is the thermocouple type meter preferred for RF curent measurement ? (I
am suspecting to measure true power and not apparent { reactive} amperes).

2. If I'm at resonance, ( x=r , j=0 ), will true amperes and apparent amperes
be the same even if I have a mismatch ( SWR > 1 ) ?

Thanks for your consideration.
