Sorry Mike, you left out the next sentence:

Sounds like quite a compromise, but then, most people using an E-H probably
don't have room or permission to install a �-wavelength dipole, which, on 20
meters, would be more than 33' long and need to be 33' above ground to work
like a dipole.
