Thanks to Billy and John for the fast and I would say accurate
response. Found a pdf manual and was able to file a copy of it on the disk.
Now to read, heed and put up>

>Hi Chris:
>Because guesses are easy, I'd almost be willing to bet on
my guess that what you have there is either a whole, or the
better part of a HyGain 14AVQ vertical.
There were about sixty million billion of the things made
and sold, and unless I have forgotten more than I think I have,
I worked Canada with one as a Novice almost forty years ago.
Not a bad antenna. Not nearly as bad as some of the current
stuff out there in the marketplace.
HyGain has been bought and sold a couple of times, and I don't
have a clue as to who owns them this week. Try searching for
"HyGain 14AVQ" or maybe just 14AVQ on the internet and see
what you come up with.
Good luck and best regards de John WB6GHA
I have just been given a 40m vertical with no documentation. The antenna
has three loading devices (probably capacitor and coil) or such. They are
marked High Gain with address on each and separately, 57010 20m
877129, 57010 15m 877131, 57010 10m 877132. Can anyone point me to the
correct site for downloadable documentation on such. TANX
