[Antennas] Isotron from Bilal - has anyone experiences to share?

The Isotron is a fine antenna, for out on the balcony, to be used by a
cave dweller. (apartment/condo life) My club field tested the 40 meter
version, it was -10 dB compared to a 3" diameter, 30' tall reference
antenna * over 8 radials.
It has a high Q and it must be tuned if you QSY very much.
This means it must be at arms length or easily dropable to adjustable
position, but moving it down 20' to next to you, may detune it,
we didn't test that.
I recommend dipoles and or a vertical with many radials, depending
on whom you wish to work.
The reference antenna was made of 3, 10' sections of round down spout
in a 2 liter bottle and held together with sheet metal screws.
