<PRE>I recently installed a piece of 450 ohm ladder line from my dipole. The new 
ladder line was # 16 vs the replaced line @ # 14.  The result was that I am 
having much more considerable difficulty in tuning using my MFJ 962-D tuner 
than I had with the # 14 line.  I probably do not have the same length as 
before either.  My question is what can I do to improve the tuning process?  
Do I add more line and if so how much?  I do note that the tuning process is 
much easier in the 160 meter region  than the higher frequencies.  Keith -
