I've never had problems with running ladder line through attics,
doors, windows, etc.  Also wrapped it around tree trucks and 
branches for support along the way.  Just don't lay it close
and parallel to metal like a pipe or something.  The tuner will
compensate for most things that could happen to the ladder line.
All this is possible because the spacing between the wires is
so small, and it and the antenna, working as a unit, are tuned
for resonance at the tuner.      73   Clete
