[Antennas] SGC-237 needs a 9 ft whip

Thread the tip of the antenna you want to extend and make a threaded
coupler to join the spoke material to the antenna tip. shouldn't be that
difficult with a bit of bar stock, hand taps, drill press and a vise. I
have done similar to make shaft extensions for capacitors, though in that
case I made it using set screws.
