If you have a Fair Radio Catalog, look at this antenna: 
<http://www.fairradio.com/as2482.html>. The website listing has almost no 
description besides a folded-up photo... but it seems to me like the print 
catalog description sounded somewhat like this. OR there is a VHF-UHF 
antenna I cannot recall the name of that uses two dipoles with bent ends 
that in some ways almost look like a confused swastika... that too might be 
a candidate.
