"When I lived in an apartment in Alexandria, VA in the 60's I had great
success with a vertical mounted on the balcony rail on the 5th floor of a
5-story apartment building. It was a very simple base-loaded vertical with
taps on the loading coil to change bands. I operated 80, 40 and 20 meters
with it with a 100-watt transceiver."
