I agree using open wire is the best approach.  SWR isn't king.  We used open
wire & worked the world before the invention of coax.  Read "Antennas"
Kraus; "Antenna Engineering Handbook" Jasik; "Reflections" Maxwell; "ARRL
Antenna Handbook"; "ARRL Handbook".  Some broadcast stations used open wire
feeders verses coax! 73, Ron W2WU B.E.
