[Antennas] help w/ mobile install

i had an outbacker perth and loved it
i think its a bit tall to put on top of a full size pickup and not brush =
some overpasses or leaves every now and then.
as far as its performance, the perth did an outstanding job. used one =
for several months as a temp. base antenna
40 feet above house.
the hamsticks do well also, but are band specific. in either case may i =
suggest=20
mounting to the bumper of truck either front or rear. the extra few feet =
will allow
you to mount a perth or a long hamstick w/o fear of damage or any =
significant loss of signal.
