[Antennas] Lightening Bolt Antennas

I am planning to put up an HF directional antenna of
some sort this fall and would like recommendations.  I
have been considering Mosley and Hy-Gain multi-band
beams, but I recently heard about the Lightening Bolt
Quads and Delta Loops.  I live in CT, so I am
concerned about the weather effects on a quad, but I
have always heard that quads outperform yagis.  Can
anyone help with where I can get the best performance
for the buck?
