I like this question!
I have been told NOT to cut off any 450 window line as it is part of the 
antenna as designed, if needed roll it in a loop, min diameter 6ft or it 
will act as an inductor.

I have seen some comments on various length of the line, plus multiples of 
stated lengths.  I would like to see an answer that has some theory  plus 
experimentation behind the answer.
