[Antennas] seeking info on cobwebb antenna

It would appear from the information on the web site that it is a one
wavelength (per band), quad type element, laid over on it's side.  

If that's the case, then the major radiation is about +2db straight up. 
Depending on the mounted height above ground, there might be a little
more gain added to the straight up signal.  

It might be OK for close in work but I suspect very poor for long
distance DX.
