[Antennas] HF window loop antenna?

I have a receiving loop, given to me by the ham who built it and said that
it works great for direction finding.
It is a 25 wire computer cable mounted on wooden frame with a
screwdriver-tunable capacitor. 25 loops, but the soldering of the fine wire
must have been a trick or 25.
