[Antennas] Need a bit of wire advice

Hi, Bob

1. it doesn't matter which you use as far as antenna performance is
concerned. That crud is probably just the normal corrosion layer that
copper wire gets and it has no practical effect on how the antenna works.

2. stay away from Radio Shack for antenna wire! Got to a Home Depot or
Lowe's and get 500 ft of #14 insulated for about $15. I have used it for
years and it too is very hard to see in the air.
