This does not surprise me as Cushcrafts customer
support sucks, and they seem pretty clueless. I wrote
them once because I was having SWR problems with one
of their verticals-Their entire reponse was "NO IDEA".
It is too bad because I like their products. I have a
MA5B which works great as a minitribander. I also
have a 13B2 for 2 meters, and the dual band 2/440 5
element yagi. Fortunately, nothing on any of those
antennas has broken. Did have an R4 once and it
worked pretty good until it rained, then the SWR went
through the roof.
