[Antennas] which beam

My point being that if a person A (John), asks a question and person B (me
or anyone else) makes a reasonable comment or suggestion, then person C,
(you) shouldn't jump in tell me that is not what person A wanted to know.
It is up to person A, the one who asked the question, to decide if the
information is useful to him or not. It is not person C's (you) job or
responsibility to jump in and tell people their comments are out of line.
Had person A, (John N3DRK), the person who asked the question, had told me
thanks anyway, but your suggestion does not meet my requirements, that
would be different. Did John hire you to be his consultant as to what
emails to read and what suggestions to follow? Don't you think that is his
decision, not yours?
I recently bought a new tower. I had a predetermined price limit. One of
my ham friends directed me to a web site where I found a better tower, at a
higher price, but I bought it anyway. It was my decision based on the
information I had on hand. I think John has the right to decide for
himself what he wishes to consider for his own use. I don't know John and
could care less what antenna he decides to purchase. I was just pointing
him to one possibility to research.
K1B is on 10 meters right now. Maybe they need another DX cop. I don't
think we need a reflector cop to tell people what to post or what not to
post.
