First, I have a Picket Model 1000 copyrighted in 1948 which some idiot
drilled small holes in each end of the slide.  It says it's a Something
Phase Duplex which I don't understand because there's no Radian scale,
just the usual with CF and DF.  Any one know what the drill took out?
In 1954 I had a 6 inch aluminum Picket in my tool box. In 1952 and later
in 1961 I bought Sun Hemmi rules in Japan.  Plastic on bamboo was very
good, but ball point pens would stain them.

Second, I have a round slide rule I bought in Japan in 1951.  It's cute,
but one scale wasn't laid out properly for the printer.  If you add some
logs with it you'll find the error.  If I put these two rules on ebay
what is a good price?  I have to start sheding stuff or my estate is
going to be a mess.   73  Clete
