I absolutely agree with W2XJ regarding QST and QEX.  I have had quite a 
number
of articles printed in QEX and each year it seems they do dumber and 
dumber things
to my submissions.  I think QEX needs a staff upgrade;  some of my 
"primary" graphics
get printed very small while those that are secondary in nature get a 
good part of a page.
Editor seems sharp but doesn't seem to have a handle on the content.  
And for some
reason the page count, especially in QEX, seems to be declining.  Is it 
on the way out?
$50 is, to me, kind of stressful for a public-service license.
