I'm guessing that they were skating real near the edge financially, and the lack of income for the 2020 Hamcom caused them to go too far into the hole. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong cliche, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. They moved the event to Irving which is a more central location (+/-3dB) for a couple of years, but then back to Plano. Irving was trying to collect sales tax on EVERYTHING even the poor chump at a table with a couple of random items he was just trying to make a couple of bucks on. Where as Plano doesn't worry about it. So I'm fairly sure Irving was hitting them Hamcom organization for every penny they could forcing Hamcom to cut overhead. Besides, the parking sucked at Irving......
