We have a group in the SE that meets twice a week on 3715, Tuesdays at 1300Z and Sundays at 2000Z. While not reachable by most, any AM ops with a radius around Spartanburg, SC of about 200 miles seems to reach us. Of course Tuesdays mornings are better than Sunday afternoons, but still get a Q5 copy and better on stations at that radius. Most of us run 100 watts from vintage, but there are several Johnson 500's, we have had up to 5 ART13's on the net at one time, plus ARC gear running low power, Multi-Elmac's, Heathkits, WRL, homebrew, and one or two computer rigs feeding amps running in the 300 watt range. We also meet once a month for lunch. The net has been on the air for over 23 years now.

There is another group that I think meets daily around 1300Z on 3725 also, but more and more computer based rigs appearing there and less vintage. We know they are there as several of them splatter pretty good, copyable splatter by some of our stations on the edges of the area, not just stuff from overloading, and primarily the computer based rigs feeding outboard amps that are the culprit.
