Yes, in the ham world that includes things like the Heathkit DX-100,
TX-1, RX-1, Warrior Amp, and Johnson Viking I.

The front panels are 19" wide, but the holes don't line up to a
standard rack. I was given a DX-100 and had to set it on a rack shelf
because the holes didn't line up.

It worked, but left a visible gap above or below the mounting screws that the screw-heads don't cover up.
