Yes, in the ham world that includes things like the Heathkit DX-100,
TX-1, RX-1, Warrior Amp, and Johnson Viking I.

The front panels are 19" wide, but the holes don't line up to a
standard rack. I was given a DX-100 and had to set it on a rack shelf
because the holes didn't line up.

When I tried to mount it in my standard relay rack, I found that the screw holes didn't line up.  The vertical spacing was different, and I had to ream out the holes slightly with a chainsaw file (through 3/16" steel panel) to allow the screws to fit.  It worked, but left a visible gap above or below the mounting screws that the screw-heads don't cover up.
