[AMRadio] 160m anyone?

160 has been open with reasonably low QRN lately.  I occasionally hear
activity on 1880 and 1885, as well as 1980-85 early evenings just after
sunset, but often the band is devoid of AM activity altogether.  I try to
stir up some activity by calling CQ on about 1885, but apt as  not no
response even when the band is open, noise is low, and strong SSB signals
are heard up and down the band from all over the country.

Where is everyone?
