   Just picked up a HQ-129-X at the Belton ham fest.  Really nice piece. but
woould like to know if any one has the values of the 2 power supply chokes.
They are listed in the parts list but with oout values.  Curiosity Rules.  I
was fighting a bit of hum.  turned out that the output XFMR may have been
changed at some time and it was mounted with its core inline with the power
XFMR.  turning it 90 deg fixed the hum.  But in doing so I acidentally
pulled a wire lose from the second power supply choke.  The reciever works
great with just one choke but the voltage is a bit high  now. I really could
repair the choke but thought there might be a newer one of the right value
that would not take up as much space. Or maybe I will just increase the
filter cap values and add some resistance.  Tempted to go external on the
power supply to get rid of some heat.
