This is what I would do.
Put on a mask, flush the equipment with lots of water.
get a quart of bleach and add a quart of water; spray mix onto the equipment.
Buy some "Natures Miracle" http://www.naturesmiracle.com/ and follow directions.
Flush with a lot of water, and flush with distilled water.
Hope it works.
A the very least, the bleach treatment.
