[AMRadio] OT - TS-440S question

I don' t know if this is the case but I have ran into issues at my workplace
where a highly polished shaft will bind and occasionally snap when going
through a bronze bushing. We have housings that sit on top of valve
actuators. The housings have confirmation switches inside. There are 2
bushings. I am sometimes amazed at how much they bind in such short amount
of travel!

Some of those rigs, Larry, have a 'back ring' that you can tighten or
loosen to change the action on the tuning knob. That, or maybe the piece
of felt behind the knob finally balled up and got bigger and bigger.

Get yer allen wrench out and remove that assembly and see what's up.
