Some of those rigs, Larry, have a 'back ring' that you can tighten or
loosen to change the action on the tuning knob. That, or maybe the piece
of felt behind the knob finally balled up and got bigger and bigger.
Get yer allen wrench out and remove that assembly and see what's up.
