Anyone who wants a scan of the chart Charlie is referencing can drop me a 
message and I can supply a scan from a 1956 ARRL Antenna Book.
If I recall the length referenced is from the insulator on one leg to the 
center insulator then down to termination, but it has been a while.

   Back in 'ye olde days' of the small ARRL Antenna book, it had a chart 
with feedline lengths to avoid and I did follow that guideline, but maybe 
something has changed and I need to check connections and conditions.
