Glad to hear it will be back up and running...
I think Steve had the first real AM website, the AM Window. I started one
called "AM North America" not long after. Later, I changed it to simply
"AMFone", with the domain name of amfone.net. Gary started the AM
Classifieds some short time after this. I am pulling a straws trying to
remember dates, etc., but I think I approached Gary, Todd, and maybe some
others at one point (about 1999?) to take mine and just consolidate the
whole thing into one. We/they did, and the rest is history.
The AM Window continued with its archive of data, however, as Todd said, he
merged his BBS into the AMfone website, and I kept managing the AM
Reflector, both sister components of the current amfone.net site. The way
all this worked out was fantastic, and I think a good move for us all.
