Boy, I hate to hear about stuff like that getting crunched up!  Makes me
wonder how much of that has happened over the years...

I could tune my 75 meter doublet/dipole on 160 with no problem, however I
didn't attempt to make any contacts since I figured at 100 watts, it would
not do much good.  I was really surprised how easily it tuned however.
Except the the Gates, I really don't have anything I can put on 160 over
100 watts right now.  And, I still have some work to do on the Gates to get
it converted.  The Bartlesville xmitr turned out to be a basket case,
however I still have a lot of iron from it that checks good.

If something great happens, maybe I can get this BC-1T on the air before
the end of winter, don't need anything but a little time.  As you know, I
have not been on the air for some time, and look forward to some good AM
nights...
